  • > Sortio is an AI file sorter for Mac and Windows. Auto-sort, rename, and organize files by prompt. Free to try, Pro subscription available. The developer describes this as "what you'd build if you got tired of writing Hazel rules — but without giving up the per-file precision." This space is rapidly getting crowded, but this one is a good contender. I've asked every dev of apps in this rapidly-crowding space to cater to those of us who use tags for file management, and this is the first dev to come through. [Check out the TagFiler-compatible workflow](https://www.getsortio.com/docs/auto-tag-spaces). Very exciting.
  • Ok, this is cool. A next gen file manager that turns your folder into a database for better file management, with some very cool integration with your AI agent, built-in Markdown editor, custom fields for file management, and a ton of other capabilities.
  • > Transform your file management with intelligent, automated file renaming powered by AI. Perfect for designers, developers, and content creators. This is a pretty nifty little app that intelligently names things like screenshots and PDFs based on their contents. It can even accept templates telling it what information to look for in the contents and then filling in blanks with the results. And it can watch entire folders and rename files as they're added. I've talked to the developer about add Shortcuts integration so it can be inlined into things like Hazel workflows, and he says he's working on it!
