I have just found this story of Thanks for The Dance. It's beautifully put together. Big thanks to Adam for his dedication to giving us the last gift from his father.

In 1980, Leonard use to have a beer at the Mexican restaurant, Le Tatou, in Mtl every day at 5. It was an honour for me to serve him day after day. He was in his thoughts and was always elegant in his being with me. Silence was our way of communicating. Love this wonderful human being.Thank you for this touching tribute.

I am the generation that should have known him from the 1960s but somehow I missed him. Then.......I went to his concert in Weybridge, England in 2007(?) and again to his concert in Lucca, Italy, in 2013 or 14. Both those live performances touched me more than any other -live performance I have been to ....and I have seen many. Wonderful lyricist/poet, marvellous music and I play his music often. Thank you , Adam Cohen for your talent and respectful/valued work and I hope to hear more of your own music.

Thanks for all the dances Mr Cohen. Even when I was dancing alone, you were never far away. I hope you're having a wonderful journey

Mr Cohen spoke of the mystery of the human condition in a unique way, with tremendous compassion, seeming to understand something of its splendour without being blind to its degradation; that's why he is SO missed and why he is simply irreplaceable to many of us.

How I miss Leonard Cohen and his music. Loved his music but l always have respected his intellect and heart even more. His expressed values are familiar & comforting to me. My Dad was of the same mold. I miss them both.

A man for all seasons, for all time. He's done more to heal my wounds and those given and received than any man or woman, from the tower of his songs.

I had the the privilege to meet Mister Leonard COHEN two times. The last time in Colmar (France) I was invited to take the breakfast with him at the Hotel. I am Portuguese and Leonard lived in a Portuguese area in Montréal. He told me he love the Portuguese Food !! I will remeber that meeting all my life. He was the most respectful Artist I've meet in my career!!
